Job Title: Sterile Processing Technician

Pay Range: $30 – $45 per hour, DOE

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Sterile Processing Technician to ensure that all surgical instruments and medical equipment are properly sterilized and maintained for use across our main and satellite facilities. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of sterilization protocols, can anticipate clinical needs, and is committed to supporting safe and efficient patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, sterilize, and maintain surgical instruments and equipment following industry and facility standards.
• Inspect instruments for cleanliness and proper function before and after procedures.
• Track and manage the flow of surgical instruments throughout the sterilization cycle.
• Collaborate with surgical and clinical staff to anticipate instrument needs and support efficient case turnover.
• Ensure proper storage, handling, and labeling of sterile items.
• Follow infection control guidelines and maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in Sterile Processing or Surgical Technology (CRCST, CBSPD, or CST) preferred.
• Knowledge of surgical instruments and medical terminology.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a sterile processing or surgical support role.
• Familiarity with tracking systems and sterilization equipment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Capable of adapting to fast-paced and high-pressure environments.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
• Manual dexterity required for handling instruments and packaging.
