Our client, a leading manufacturer of semiconductors, is seeking a Technical Writer to join their team. As a Technical Writer, you will be part of the Global Communications and Marketing Team (GCM). The ideal candidate will have an outstanding ability to tell stories that engage, inform, and influence behavior.
Job Title: Technical Writer Location: Meridian, ID Pay Range: $44.48/hour What's the Job? - Develop content for product launch and positioning, including FAQs, web landing pages, and social media
- Develop content for marketing needs, including long form articles, articles that serve SEO needs, video scripts, infographics, and newsletters
- Analyze and interpret technical product specifications to generate enticing, innovative, and effective user-benefit content
- Work with web and design teams to help support content development, SEO content strategies, and engagement initiatives
- Research topics such as technology, hardware, business trends, and gaming to develop creative story ideas. Interview subject matter experts to gather data, insights, and proof points to develop and back up core messages
What's Needed? - BA/BS in English, journalism, marketing, or PR preferred
- 8+ years of experience producing quality marketing content
- Ability and passion to learn about memory and storage products for data centers
- A portfolio illustrating a variety of writing styles across different consumer and business audiences
- Break down large, complex technology deployment information into clear, concise communication for a broader audience
