SHIFT YOUR TEAM

Who exactly are UPS Warehouse Workers and Temporary Cover Drivers? They work inside as warehouse workers and drive our familiar brown trucks, bringing packages to customers. They enjoy being outdoors, fast-paced work, and being behind the wheel!

While functioning as a Temporary Cover Driver, you will be required to:

• Work 8 – 10 hours each day (Monday through Friday) or (Tuesday – Saturday)
• Have excellent customer contact and driving skills

While functioning as a Warehouse Worker, you will:

• Typically work 3 ½ - 5 hours each day (Monday through Friday) or (Tuesday-Saturday)
• Be required to work your assigned shift (based on operational needs)

UPS full-time small package delivery drivers receive an average total compensation package of $145,000 per year. That includes $0 healthcare premiums, up to seven weeks of paid vacation, plus paid time off for holidays, sick leave, and option days. UPS makes contributions to a defined-benefit pension plan for each employee.

So, what does it take to make it through a busy shift? Here are some examples:

• The ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
• Stamina – this is a workout like no other!
• Valid driver’s license—no CDL required (Type varies by State)
• Pass the DOT physical
• Excellent customer contact and driving skills
• Legal right to work in the U.S.
