The WHSAA has paid out $80,000 in scholarships since January 2023.  In June 2022, 20 graduates were awarded and 16 prior graduates who are currently in their 2nd, 3rd or 4th year of college received scholarships to help them with college and/or technical school expenses.

We are very grateful to All of our alumni for donating to our scholarship program, maintaining a membership and supporting our fundraising efforts.  The recent WHSAA Hall of Distinction Ceremony raised almost $50,000 which will be used for scholarships.  The video is available through our special website

The program takes you on a virtual tour of the high school and we inducted 12 Weequahic alumni into the WHSAA Hall of Distinction.  Their photos and bios are on the website.  It’s also never too late to make a donation in honor of or in memory of any of the inductees.
