Bartender/Server Location Oviedo, FL :

Join Our Team as a Server/Bartender at Yao's!

We are looking for talented servers/bartenders to join our team and help us continue creating exceptional dining experiences for our guests.

Responsibilities:

• At all times to be aware of and practice good customer service, assisting the guest in any way which does not adversely affect other customers.
• Knowledge of the menu, with the ability to make suggestions
• Answer questions or make recommendations for complementary products
• Take and serve orders with accuracy and efficiency
• Deal with complaints or problems with a positive attitude
• Serve and replenish drinks and other dining items
• Assist with running food to tables.
• Clean designated areas, in accordance with company procedures, including opening and closing routines and following hygiene requirements.
• Assist with cleaning and re-setting tables.
• Polishing plates, glassware, utensils etc.
• Set tables to company policy, ensuring that all items used are clean, undamaged and in a good state of repair.
• Ensure service stations are adequately stocked.
• Follow all Health & Safety procedures and be familiar with emergency protocols.
• Be continually aware of and maintain the highest standards of personal hygiene and dress
• Accurately issue bills, accept payments, and complete transactions
• Collaborate with other restaurant servers and kitchen/bar staff

Knowledge of proper food handling and safety procedures - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment - Strong attention to detail and cleanliness Skills: - Familiarity with working in a kitchen or food service environment - Ability to work as part of a team and take direction from others - Strong communication skills to effectively interact with kitchen staff and servers - Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays• Sanitation & Safety: Follow all sanitation and safety standards to maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace.

Requirements:

• Experience providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment and deliver orders in a timely manner.
• Able to handle money accurately and operate a point-of-sale system.
• Attention to cleanliness and safety.
• Patience and customer-oriented approach
• Excellent people skills with a friendly attitude
• Responsible and trustworthy and organized
• High school diploma is a plus but not required
