Loc Performance Products, LLC provides full services for complex mechanical products, fabricated structures and systems that range from complete design services to prototype manufacturing, testing, production launch, full rate production and product service and sustainment. Job Title: Driver

Department: Materials

Summary Drives truck with capacity of more than 3 tons, to transport materials to and from specified destinations, by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Loads and unloads materials, parts, or products onto or from pallets, skids, conveyors, or trucks.
  • Drives truck to destination.
  • Prepares receipts for load picked up.
  • Maintains truck log, according to state and federal regulations.
  • Maintains telephone or radio contact with supervisor to receive delivery instructions.
  • Loads and unloads truck.
  • Inspects truck equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water.
  • Positions blocks and ties rope around items to secure cargo during transit.

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must possess class "A" or class "B" truck driving license that is in current standings.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
