Major Responsibilities :

• Performs, troubleshoots, and supports advanced ERP transactions for the warehouse and functions as the resident expert for the system.
• Sets up inventory locations and controls inventory levels through the use of cyclecounts; reconciling with ERP system.
• Maintains physical conditions of warehouse; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacements.
• Assesses all process, system and quality concerns and communicates with  relevant internal and external parties to achieve a resolution. 
• Ensures all domestic and international shipping and receiving transactions are completed in accordance with internal process standards and external regulations. 
• Complies with local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements by studying existing laws and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.
• Ensures all areas are in compliance with standards for safety, quality, efficiency and permitting.
• Maintains safety records and trainings/certifications of staff.
• Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.
• Schedules and assigns employees; evaluating work results.
• Maintains warehouse staff by assisting in recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees; completes performance evaluations.
• Supervises warehouse staff and job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees in accordance with policies and procedures; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.                          
• Maintains a non-union atmosphere.

Education/Training :

Degree: Associates Degree

Major: Business, Supply Chain or Logistics

Experience :

Five to Ten years of diversified business experience in Warehouse Management and International Shipping
