POSITION OVERVIEW:

Maintain all aspects of the general ledger for accuracy, timeliness and completeness. Pays: $65,000-$70,000 per year

KEY ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Maintain general ledger accounting functions Reconcile assigned intercompany accounts Reconcile assigned account receivables Prepare bank reconciliations Prepare cost report schedules and reports Maintain fixed asset schedules and record monthly depreciation expense Prepare and post monthly entries closing entries Close-out accrued balance sheet accounts Manage government grants as assigned Prepare audit schedules and work with external auditors Produce ad hoc analysis reports and projects as requested Participate in the preparation of annual budgets Research with regard to appropriately recording accounting transactions with document support Other duties as assigned by Supervisors. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in accounting, 5+ years of progressive accounting experience required Non- Profit experience a plus Knowledge of GAAP and Uniform Guidance cost principles Advanced Microsoft Excel skills Excellent verbal and written communication Experience with Fund-Ez and Sage Fixed Asset a plus Have you ever worked with Acacia Network or any of our affiliate?
