Blue Owl is looking for a motivated Junior Photographer to join our growing Creative team. This position will directly assist the Lead Photographer in the photography of Blue Owl’s extensive product catalog, as well as photo retouching and studio prep. The ideal candidate must demonstrate knowledge of basic studio photography skills and possess strong multi-tasking skills, an innate attention to detail, and a willingness to learn. This role will work primarily offsite at Blue Owl’s Seattle-area photo studio, and may require travel to/from the Blue Owl main office. Responsibilities: Take professional photographs of Blue Owl’s extensive product catalog, including apparel, accessories, jewelry, and more Edit images using photo editing software (Adobe Photoshop and Capture One) to adjust color, exposure, and imperfections Ensure all images meet Blue Owl’s standards for visual consistency and accuracy Routinely organize and archive files with proper naming conventions Utilize, maintain, and troubleshoot provided studio equipment including cameras, lights, tether systems, backgrounds, and displays Prep new products for studio photography and retag completed products for returns Assist in conceptualizing, planning, and producing seasonal product editorials Regularly clean and organize studio Qualifications: 1-2 years of digital studio photography and photo editing experience A diverse portfolio demonstrating photography, lighting, and styling skills Keen interest in related men’s fashion and trends Excellent eye for detail and ability to create visually engaging images that align with Blue Owl’s brand identity Demonstration of digital photography, still life, lighting, and compositional skills with knowledge of color and light theory Strong knowledge of Digital Cameras (Canon EOS preferred), Adobe Suite, and Mac OS (knowledge of Tether systems is a plus) Meticulous focus on capturing accurate product details and ensuring consistency in image quality A self-starter, with a strong sense of teamwork in a fast-paced, high volume, deadline-driven environment Must be willing to work one weekend day Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50lbs Reliable transportation High School Diploma or GED required To apply, please send your resume, portfolio, and a quick note on why you want to work at Blue Owl to jobs@blueowl.us.
